Dear readers… Greetings again from the person behind the laptop.

Last week marked again another weekend full of activities, fun and non-stop excitement for the Organizer, the sponsors, the contestants and most importantly, all the visitors to Queensbay Mall. The North Zone of Queensbay Mall was filled with anxious contestants, their family members and friends. Everyone was there to give their support to the contestant.

The event kicked start in the morning with participants registering themselves. Well, I was there around 9.30am. I thought I was early and would probably caught a few photos of participants walking anxiously to the mall. Yet, I was so wrong, in fact the zone was filled with participants already lining up to get their registration done.

That’s the bird eye view. Let’s have a closer look.

Wow… wasn’t that amazing. So many participants. Gambateh and good luck to all I must say. At this time of writing, I’m still not notified of the semi-finalists.

After the near 1 hour long of registration process (you can imagine the number of participants), the show started with Shiseido Make Up workshop.

I managed to get a few tips myself from the workshop. LOL. It was just wonderful. More excitement for all the participants when the famous Penang model Stephanie Chuah, representing Velvet Production, to show some tips and tricks on doing cat walk on the stage.

That’s just superb, wasn’t it. Getting hands on tips from the Pro. Hmm… perhaps I should join too next year, well, I need to keep fit from now on. LOL.

With the completion of both workshop, participants were divided into groups for Shiseido make up and hair do by HairIcon. These to ensure they look at their best for photo shooting.

I think I have got some photos of the participants doing make up and hair do… let me see, where did I put them ?

Found ! They were in a folder of a folder of a folder… LOL.

While some contestants having their hair do done, some were busy with Shiseido make up too. Make up is no small deal for Shiseido. Look at the lipsticks. I bet this is the my first time seeing so (sooooooooooooooo) many lipsticks. Wow.

Today marked the very beginning of the Vogue For Virgue Model Search, organized by Penang’s largest shopping mall – Queensbay Mall, Penang. We are proud to be associated with them. So, we took some photos of the registration process, real time, real persons, reals story.

Queensbay Shopping Mall, the largest modern shopping mall in Penang will be organizing Queensbay Model Search 2009. This event undertake the new direction of doing charity through fashion.
